MLR now offer wireless site
surveys using the latest
wireless mapping technology. Using Ekahau Site Survey™ (ESS)
we are able to display and record information from
all the key areas of a wireless network including received
signal strengths, access point locations and noise
levels.
Using this information we can optimise your
access point channels and locations creating a more
effective wireless network.
The software can be used
in any environment and supports all Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11a/b/g)
networks.
One of the distinctive strengths of this software
is its powerful map visualisation capability. With
the ESS we can quickly and accurately record, visualise,
analyse, optimise, and report the performance of your
Wireless LANs (802.11a/b/g).
This makes it an invaluable
tool for the both design of a new wireless network
or troubleshooting an existing installation.
Some of the benefits of surveying and mapping wireless
network systems are listed below:
- Powerful Visualisations and Analysis
The ability to visualise and analyse all Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g attributes, such
as signal strengths, data rate, access point locations (friendly and rogue),
optimised access point locations, interference, signal-to-noise ratio,
strongest access point, signals at channel, etc.
- Planning and Optimisation
Find ideal access point locations and channels for minimum interference.
Locate areas with overlapping channel interference and simulate how network
settings affect to performance.
- Security
Accurately pinpoint rogue access points and visualise the distance of RF
leak coverage outside your building.
Following any MLR wireless survey you will receive a
complete set of documentation including network overview,
coverage maps and any appropriate recommendations or
suggestions.
