MLR at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2025

Celebrating innovation, collaboration and the future of robotics in the supply chain

In November, MLR Networks was proud to attend and sponsor the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2025, held at the iconic Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Now in its 29th year, the event brought together leading organisations from across the logistics, technology, retail, manufacturing and supply chain sectors for an evening dedicated to recognising outstanding achievement and innovation.

The atmosphere on the night was incredibly positive, a genuine celebration of the people, ideas and technologies reshaping the supply chain landscape. With over 800 guests in attendance, it was one of the largest and most well-supported awards evenings the industry has hosted to date.

Proud Sponsors of the MLR Networks Best Use of Robotics Award

This year, MLR was honoured to sponsor the Best Use of Robotics Award. A category designed to shine a spotlight on organisations who are using robotics and automation to drive efficiency, resilience and transformation across their operations.

Mark Hope presented the award on the night, recognising the work of teams who are pushing boundaries and rethinking what’s possible in warehouse and supply chain environments.

A huge congratulations to the winners, GXO and Toolstation, whose collaborative project impressed judges with its innovative use of robotics to streamline operations, enhance accuracy and deliver greater agility at scale.

The shortlist for this category showcased equally impressive concepts from across the sector, highlighting just how quickly robotics is evolving and how integral it has become to modern supply chain strategy.

A Night of Industry Excellence

Across all categories, the awards celebrated organisations that demonstrated exceptional leadership, sustainability, agility and customer-focused innovation.

Themes that shone through during the evening included:

  • The rapid acceleration of warehouse automation and robotics
  • The increasing importance of data-driven decision-making
  • The need for resilient, scalable network infrastructure to support smart operations
  • A strong industry push towards sustainability and carbon reduction
  • Continued growth in collaboration between logistics providers, retailers, and technology partners

It was clear throughout the night that the supply chain sector continues to emerge stronger, smarter and more connected than ever before.

Strengthening MLR’s Presence in the Industry

Sponsoring the Best Use of Robotics Award gave MLR a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Reinforce our presence in the supply chain and logistics sector
  • Highlight our position as a trusted network and infrastructure partner
  • Celebrate innovation aligned with our own values and solutions
  • Support organisations driving forward the future of warehouse technology

We’re looking forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead and continuing to champion the innovation shaping the supply chain of tomorrow.
